In addition to checking for errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, I check for gaps in logic and make sure all procedural descriptions are accurate and complete. When editing software documentation, whenever possible I test the procedures as I edit. This amounts to another level of quality assurance for your product.
Website editing
I use plain English to cut through technical jargon and reach a global audience of native and non-native speakers. I apply principles of information design to visually and logically present information in a user-friendly way.
